Who is Fleedermauws?

Fleedermauws is a motivated Belgian-based illustrator.

How would you describe her art you ask?

She makes worlds full of detail and life. She always has a very intricate, unusual ways of using colours together.

 

As a kid she was already fully involved in these worlds and has never stopped since. Her themes usually consist of fantasy, with a mysterious aura around it. ​​These worlds she makes are ways for her to process and express emotions of joy, sorrow, connection, discovery, and sometimes these get their own character to represent it. ​​

Fleedermauws' illustration work is usually made with ink and/or watercolours and often will be digitally edited.
