Fleedermauws is a motivated Belgian-based illustrator, mostly known for a detailed and colorful style. She created new worlds ever since she was a small creative child. Her worlds are made where no detail is overlooked. Her fantastical art has often a flair of magic and positivity, but there's always a more sinister atmosphere lurking in her pieces.

As a kid, Fleedermauws would create worlds to get lost in as the real world wasn't the one she wanted to be in. Years later she is now still lost in them, but using them as a way to express her emotions and experiences in the real world. Pain, love, loss and everything else on the emotional spectrum has its spot, and sometimes, even its own character. Being a daughter of an immigrant, being part of the LGBT, life sure has given her enough to talk and make art about.

Fleedermauws' work is usually traditionally made with materials like watercolour and inks and will often be digitally edited.
